Type 2 Life

I'm chilling, in doors.
"It's turned out nice again". Ha ha
Issue with neighbours resolved and blackpool hols is booked. Kids enjoying their hols and searching for another day trip on the trains before september. Any ideas?
I'm considering Edinburgh zoo?
That would be quite a day trip Vicki! How far away are you? We used to live in Edinburgh just 5 mins from the Zoo For almost 40yrs we have regularly taken our kids and friends kids to the Zoo and Castle but only went once during the 5 years we stayed there, and to the Castle - not at all! The Zoo has Pandas!

Goodness me you are really having it rough just now please let us know what's happening now. Have you had your CT scan yet? Sending you giant hugs and best wishes for a quick solution to your symptoms. Keep strong xx
Its all sort of connected. Hitting myself in the face with the hammer may not actually contributed to getting double-vision a few days later (according to the CT scan). The MRI will look for something that is pressing on the nerve that works the eye muscles. None of the things that might do that are particularly exciting. I won't second guess any results but I will post back when I know something. And all hugs are gratefully received! ;)

Has the Giant pandas conceived yet? My sister follows them but forgot to ask her last week.
We'd train it up from Newcastle. A few hours from there, I believe. ;)

Well no letter from hospital, and early hours of this morning Ron had tremors and some minor seizures.
Oh for goodness sake - and I'm not usually furious, but I'm furious now. I've been told so many lies about letters, appointments etc in the post that by now I should be used to it. But really, this has gone beyond a joke Tina, I'm so sorry that you are still waiting

Heaven help them if I have to go down there again, cause after my appointment at the GPs today I'm gunning for them.

I would rather be told the truth than put off with a "it's in the post" statement but maybe it is in the post and you will get it tomorrow Tina? I hope so

I do hope so cause all this waiting around is stressing him out which could be why hes having tremors and seizures.

I agree waiting is always the worst part. Even if they told you it would be 4 weeks till he sees specialist that would be preferable to not knowing

Yes, thanks. Just made a cuppa, got in a few minutes ago. For anyone who hasn't had a head scan - they put your head in a metal waste paper bin, then slide you into a metal dustbin, then beat h*ll out of it with cricket bats.
After 15 minutes, they get bored and send you home.
I'll chase up the consultant on Tuesday.
Now for my HbA1c tomorrow. Crossing fingers and toes.

PS thanks to all for the hugs and wishes, it really does help! xx NMD
