Type 2 Life

@JohnnyBaker87 are you eating better now? I know a discipline that's tough with your medical conditions. Just start with sticking to good breakfasts then before bed eating. Those 2 will make a huge difference.
Hope you keep posting. :)

Hope today just shows arthritis in back. Or something that can be fixed. I miss my mobility. So does my diabetes.

Good morning @ickihun, my hbA1c is now 69-something, praise Jesus and my weight has come down from 90kg to 86kg. The weekly diaglutide injection has lessened my appetite too. I'm praying to the Lord for self control and discipline which are fruits of God's Spirit.

Prayers in abundance for you, my lovely friend, @ickihun. My prayer candle is lit for you every night at ten o'clock.

Thank you @JohnnyBaker87. I'm at Dr's Friday for x-ray results. I'm praying a fix for my problem. Cannot wait to get rid of walking support. Fingers crossed for me please.
I just want my mobility back.

I'm praying to the Lord for my very unpredictable diet. He is my strength and my salvation. I'm also praying for healing and improved mobility for @ickihun. Jesus is faithful and will grant the requests I'm asking. I've now got some low calorie and low glucose and low sodium ready meals and I've resumed my swimming activities going swimming once a week on a Friday with my Christian friend who is elderly.

Your brilliant. Keep it up. Use here for encouragement. We are carrying you there.

Oh dear. He really does have a struggle with everything. :(

Hi @tina_marie and @eldergarth. Oh his poor body. It doesn't half take some punishment.
I'm awaiting a scan because of pain unexplained in my right side and very bad nausea. On antibiotics and antispasm tablets. Only felt it badly when GP stopped dihydrocodeine or tramadol. He thinks it could be gallstones, still. Last scan about a year before op didnt show anything other than same fatty liver. I asked if my damaged right ovary could be causing all my numb and sporadic pain and swelling. He listened and I think added it to scan request. Just awaiting appointment.
I just want to walk without unexplained severe pain. Arthritis in thoratic lumbar not the pain in movement or sleep. Oh what fun :hungover:

It sure does what with the spasms on top . Now for the last two days he’s had trembling in his hands . Not sure if it’s linked to anything ie fibromyalgia or the meds he takes . Going to see his doctor next week to see about the duloxetine going on to his repeat medications, also to see if it’s safe for him to still be taking them after this blood test. At the moment he’s gone for a lay down as he does every afternoon.

I shake alot in high bgs mind. Very high ones which are coming down. Similiar to blury vision when bgs are adjusting.
He a trooper isn't he. You too. In fact I think harder for you as you cannot change much. With high bgs it has to come from him. The fight, that is. Although if he's exhausted he most likely hasn't the fight in him. Although a visious cycle.
Would you consider strict low carb eating only, again?
I'm having the odd bad high bg but more due to accumulation and not jumping straight on the novarapid. I'm losing again as I stalled but was reassured it was normal and just body adjustment.

On good news side too. My bloods came back as I've already been through the change. Wow. I missed that one!
I had 2yrs of sweats but put it down to infections. Also it was around the time of anxiety waiting for op and bad sleeping interruptions.
So I'm delighted if that is 100% accurate. It could be as no period since my op (June'19). A few days of a maybe but then it ran away. Even on metformin which is definitely not my premenopausal self. They always turned up without fail.
I hope my older GP has this spot on. He should be the more experienced in such matters, for sure. However what I've learned in life.... not necessarily. We'll see. :) :) :)

I'm feeling more positive. In less pain with returning to 4hrly painkillers due the day. I felt like I'd been in a car crash and had been hit with a lorry. Even moving my neck.
Although the low dosed painkillers allowed me and one of my GP's to determine the localised pain areas.
Still all on my right side. Nerve numbness and spasms in my groin now not just digging into my thigh (rear of). In fact I'm now getting twinges in my left thigh (rear of), All intensified on walking. Hugely painful unless heavy on painkillers.
I've only just reminded GP of my damaged ovary which is on that side from my burst appendix decades ago. I'm praying not infected or cancerous like often predicted for adhesions/damage on ovaries. I'd like to think sepsis would flag up or more than inflammation. Sepsis would hv been checked pre-op stage and somewhere thereafter, I'd hope? My GP didn't mention any check from them. But I'm encouraged not to ask too much as I hv so much anxiety about my health anyway. Although less so on lower bgs, for sure.
Up at 4am lately due to pain so typing whilst awaiting for painkillers to kick in.

I always miss everyone from here. Past and present.
Just sometimes pain causes me 6 fold of time needed to type and to type accurately. I miss my old me but I'm starting to admire the new me, a little.
Even GP admits I hv a few issues which will hv to be addressed one by one.
Impatient me.
I'm just scared something else will pop u in the mean while.
Awaiting 3½yrs for a bariatric op cheesed everyone off. Especially my suspended health needs.
My water tummy is back like when I was nearly 5st heavier.
Do I hv to be skin and bone before it gets some resolution?
Of course I weigh more. I'm swollen and water logged in the stomach area which makes me look pregnant. Still.
High prolactin levels can give that look I know.
So looking forward to seeing my specialist in March. He did know I wanted my ovary checked but post Roux-en-y effect on my insulin and risks to hypos or RH was more important. Poor doctor will definately be using his brain capacity with me. I hope he likes being taken there.
I was told my son's autistic specialist appreciated the noted facts for concern on which she can act on. She said as much.
I guess they hv to be simple minded one minute then heavy the next. I think either can be emotionally and physically draining.
I bet they don't like too many like me.
I always keep that in mind. Especially on a Friday evening Dr's appointment.

I think his high bgs are more to do with pain than what he eats . These days there’s hardly any of him left . His legs are like match sticks . His arms aren’t much better . With swallowing problems he now orders his meals from Wiltshire farms . Gets them delivered weekly . Straight from freezer into microwave. His new glasses are helping with light sensitivity, just have to wait for council to sort out the bathroom light so he can shower when he wants . The anxiety is becoming more of a problem he can’t be around groups of people as he starts sweating . Which brings on pain. So family get togethers are off . His sister and brother in law came round yesterday and he was off sweating , by the time they left he needed a wash and change . He’s still getting about on crutches providing his legs hold up .

What a shame after been so active and contributed hugely before diagnosis.

I must find the rant thread.
McMillian Charity pushing cakes loaded in sugar to help their cancer fight. Our infant school pushing sugar!!!! Soooo angry as in a hugely obese area of the UK. Shame on you headmistress for being uneducated.
