Type 2 Life

I cooked Jamaican jerked chicken breast fillets and significantly less Tilda Basmati Rice, which consisted of one small teacup of rice to two small teacups of boiled water.

My mental health services dietitian advised me to cut down on carbs and I've done that.

I also had a beautiful salad with minimal French dressing yesterday because of the glucose in the French dressing.

I'm very well mentally but I've just been diagnosed with sciatica and acid reflux symptoms. I'm taking Lansoprazole gastro-resistant capsules for my acid reflux symptoms.

Youre becoming my twin.
My GERD and scatica has off and on major effects on me. Sometimes enough to make me cry so you have my full sympathy. I'm missing my swimming sessions. Even bought new clothes to encourage my mood. 50% worked but then these stupid rain and winds. I'm suffering with a swollen face from the bleeding now and it's affected my breathing. Luckily I have help anticipated on Thursday. Thank god.

Keep posting as I enjoy your updates.

Happy New Year! Anything will be better than 2020.
I feel fortunate that my year wasn't as bad as many others. I put most of it down to losing so much weight and having a supportive GP and 2 specialists.
Phone appointments were weird. 4 hands on appointments but all masked up even before staff were in early 2020. All I hugely appreciated.
I've used an aid to disguise stupid pain suspected by gallbladder. Just waiting for a MRI. I've been fortunate that I got permission to be able to use ibuprofen gel directly on ribs and sternum. The suspected chest pain is relieved very very well with it. The long long mystery seems to be solved.
Feeling like been hit by a bus is relieved on dihydra-codeine mixed with paracetamol until MRI. Side pain relief aided by ibuprofen, codeine and paracetamol but topped up by a little tipple when 4hrs has been too long a time to wait. A tipple I don't use regularly but kids need me to move and help them with their new pet and food for all. Taxi company has enjoyed me in December but hoping January is less hectic now our new pet is getting older and on more available food locally.
My winter so far has been mainly out but only essential.
I'd love a more home based month this month. We'll see.
Ps. I've not added any weight. Not surprising with pain, nausea and responsibilities. I'm not really complaining. We all hv responsibilities, right?
I've noticed far less sleep needed once I had my B12 injection. I'll try and keep a tighter 3mth appointment this year.
Anyone else had a busy winter?
