Evening @cdpm. We're sorry to read about your mouth sores. The tongue and inner cheeks are such sensitive tissues. Eating must be painful. Have you tried scrambled eggs?
It's slow slow healing sore gums from surgery 23 months ago.
Yes I can still do scrambled eggs.

Eggs are nutritional powerhouses. They provide all the essential nutrients you need, except vitamin C. (Birds make their own vitamin C).

Evening @cdpm. Are you able to eat soft fruits like raspberries, blackberries or blackcurrants with full-fat, unsweetened yoghurt perhaps?

Probably raspberries with the Greek yogurt
Hello @cdpm. That would be good. Raspberries will be frozen at this time of year, but fresh or frozen, they contain valuable vitamins and minerals.

I'd try to incorporate some raspberries into your meals, if possible. They are low in fructose so won't raise your blood glucose, yet provide plenty of vitamin C, manganese and some zinc, all of which you need to help heal your mouth sores. Even a slight deficiency of any of these nutrients can delay healing and of course your diabetes doesn't help.
