Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Evening all

Yesterday:

B: Two poached eggs and scallops, asparagus spears smothered with butter, all seasoned with a good grinding of black pepper.
Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.

L: Aperitif: dry white wine.
Tuna steaks rolled in finely chopped celery and sage, baked with red peppers and mushrooms, moistened with double cream and topped with extra mature Cheddar cheese.
Steamed French beans with a knob of butter.
Water to drink.
Skipped pud.
Four squares, Montezuma's Absolute Black 100% cocoa chocolate.

D: Seafood salad made with king prawns and brown shrimps, avocado, baby plum tomatoes, salad onions and Halkidiki olives with home-made aioli for dipping and topped with roasted macadamia nuts.
Water to swallow tablets.
 
Evening all

B: Two eggs scrambled in butter with a generous dollop of double cream, sautéed chestnut mushrooms and baby plum tomatoes, all seasoned with black pepper.
Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.

L: Aperitif: dry white wine.
Baked whole sea bass, belly stuffed with sprigs of thyme and garlic, drizzled with olive oil.
Steamed asparagus spears smothered with butter.
A medley of baked broccoli, cauliflower, onions, garlic and sweet red peppers.
Water to drink.
Skipped pud.
Four squares, Montezuma's Absolute Black 100% cocoa chocolate.

D: Salad made with anchovy fillets, quail's eggs, avocado, lettuce, Padrón chillies, salad onions, lemon verbena and a touch of lemon juice, with a dollop of home-made aioli for dipping, topped with walnut halves.
 
Evening all,

B: Two poached eggs topped with a knob of butter, avocado and four tiger prawns, seasoned with a good grinding of black pepper.
Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.

L; Courgetti alla puttanesca
made with anchovies, Kalamata olives, capers, canned tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, butter, oregano and spiralised courgettes.
Braised cavolo nero with garlic and toasted almonds.
Skipped pud.
Water to drink.

D: Seafood salad made with brown shrimps, mussels, lettuce, finely shredded red cabbage, apple peel, celery, baby plum tomatoes and mustard cress with a dollop of aioli for dipping, topped with toasted pistachios.
Water to swallow tablets.
 
Kefir first then I had warm buttered broccoli with 2 hard boiled eggs, and an avocado with a lime juice and apple cider vinegar dressing. I later had some more kefir (shop bought but have ordered my own grains so will try making some), and more avocado with walnuts and baby leaf salad. Then I found myself in the kitchen carb-hunting, so I had a dessertspoon full of 100% peanut butter. Stopped eating at 8pm with some more kefir. I threw away a coconut cake that I'd bought a few days ago before I returned to trying LCHF - its first ingredient was sugar. That felt good.

Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.

L: Salmon fillets baked with broccoli, mushrooms, double cream and lemon verbena.
Steamed asparagus spears and French beans smothered with butter
Water to drink.
Skipped Shrove Tuesday pancakes in favour of raspberries and full fat Greek yoghurt.

D Seafood salad using tiger prawns, brown shrimps, lettuce, baby plum tomatoes, celery, Romano peppers, cucumber, Halkidiki olives and salad onions, dressed with an olive oil, balsamic, oregano and garlic vinaigrette, topped with roasted macadamia nuts.
Water to swallow tablets.
