Yesterday's ---
200 grams bag of salt reduced potato chips
The only thing good was that they were salt reduced (and of course the taste!)

Morning all. Haven't eaten properly for over a week because I have had a severe case of Bronchitis. But I'm starting to feel better so today I'm having cold chicken with salad for lunch and a tin of red salmon for tea.

Wondered what had happened to you @RosemaryJackson. It's good to see you posting again.

Greetings @cdpm. Are Canadian potato chips the same as potato crisps in the UK?
My digestive system cannot handle spuds, but at least yours were salt-reduced and haven't caused gastric issues.

Yesterday:

B: Two poached eggs with a knob of butter and avocado seasoned with a good grinding of black pepper,
A wedge of Gorwydd Caerphilly (made with unpasteurised, raw cow's milk}.
Water to swallow tablet.
Double espresso.


L: Packed lunch made with leftover ceviche.
Lettuce cups, Romano peppers, celery sticks and tomatoes with a dollop of home-made mayonnaise for dipping.
Almonds, hazelnuts and pecans.
Water to drink.
Wild blackberries picked on the hoof to round off lunch.


D: Smoked salmon and cream cheese salad made with sweet cicely, vine tomatoes, lemon verbena, Kalamata olives and mustard cress, dressed with olive oil and a touch of lemon juice, topped with toasted pine nuts.
Water to wash down tablets.

Homemade slow cooker "slop".
Containing- 1 large can of tomato sauce and 1shredded carrot and 1 shredded onion and 2 shredded potatoes and 3 tiny shredded beets and 2 mild flat Italian sausage rounds.
It all turned out very very soft.
Hoping it settles OK cause of the meat.

Water to swallow tablet.

L: Aperitif: dry white wine.
Tuna steaks rolled in finely chopped celery and sage, baked with sweet red peppers and aubergines, moistened with double cream and topped with extra mature Cheddar cheese.
Steamed runner beans with a knob of butter and toasted pine nuts.
Water to drink.
Skipped pud.
Two squares, Montezuma's Absolute Black 100% cocoa chocolate.

D: Seafood salad made with king prawns and mussels, avocado, garden tomatoes, salad onions and Kalamata olives with home-made aioli for dipping and topped with roasted macadamia nuts.
Water to wash down tablets.

I had Ozempic (semaglutide) 0.5 before breakfast

Lunch
Half flat bread (mix grains), chicken meat curry, and three spoons rice

Dinner
Half flat bread (mix grains) and black chickpeas curry

But, midnight I start feeling pain in stomach. I asked Dr. He said, don't eat too much. It's one of the side effects of Ozempic.

Today :

Breakfast
1 small bowl plain yogurt

Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.

L: Aperitif: dry white wine.
Whole sea bass baked en papillote, belly stuffed with sprigs of French tarragon and garlic, drizzled with olive oil.
Steamed asparagus spears smothered with butter.
A medley of baked broccoli, cauliflower, onions, garlic and sweet red peppers.
Water to drink.
Skipped pud.
Two squares, Montezuma's Absolute Black 100% cocoa chocolate.

D: Salad made with anchovy fillets, quail's eggs, avocado, lettuce, Padrón chillies, salad onions, lemon verbena and a touch of lemon juice, with a dollop of home-made aioli for dipping, topped with walnut halves.

Luffa gourd sounds intriguing @iFaisal. I believe this vegetable has undergone studies for antidiabetic action.

I prefer this thread so I will try hard to just list my food eaten.
Today will be homemade slow cooker meatballs. Containing ground Italian sausage I rolled into a meatball shape then put a can of pasta sauce in after I dumped the grease a few times.
