Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Do you have a source for the elderberry essence? Have some orange flower water around and would like to make your drink
Hi Contralto, yes I just discovered a French brand of sugar free elderflower cordial made by Teisseire which is available in Waitrose. I also saw some other flavours on Amazon. Sorry for the delay in replying to this

B: Mushroom omelette, small banana & water

L: 6 no added sugar digestives with goats cheese (getting through the cheese left over from Saturday night), a few olives, an apple & a mullerlight yogurt, tea.
T: Tuna & pasta bake with more cheese on top :D, coke zero.
Red bush tea.

How is BG reading at the end of each day? It could help to know how your meals help or don’t.

B: Crunchy nut clusters peanut butter, 2 boiled eggs, milky coffee.

L: 6 cheddars, creme de St Agur cheese, a few olives, some fruit cocktail & a mullerlight yogurt.

T: Cantonese chicken & some egg fried rice, coke zero.

S = 300g assorted salami and air cured ham
Bottle of red wine consumed during evening

Breakfast : 2 cheese sticks
Lunch : chickenmeat 200 grams
2 cheesesticks
Late afternoon : 2 cheese sticks and 200 grams chicken meat 1 tomato and 25 grams valnuts and 500 grams high protein “skyr”( kind of Icelandic you hurt)

Besides the whole day drank 3 litres of water and coffee with cream

Am doing a protein diet for 1 week
 
Breakfast: McDonalds Double Cheese Burger, Strawberry Milkshake, Fries

Lunch: Eat All You Can Til You Literally Drop Dead (Gorgeous) Chinese Buffet (Part 1)

Tea: Cheesecakes, Black Forest Gateau cake, Carrot cake, Ice Cream, Pepsi, Chocolates, followed by Kentucky Fried Chicken Box Meal and more chocolates for afters

Dinner: Eat All You Can Til You Literally Drop Dead (Gorgeous) Chinese Buffet (Part 2)

After Dinner: Ambulance, A & E, followed by visit to Funeral Parlor!
 
Brekkie: 2 rashers 1 egg black tea
Lunch : ham and cheese omelette black tea.
Dinner : 2 beefburgers 2 eggs sugar free tango
Supper :2 ryvita and cheese black tea
Bout 15 grs carbs all day

Poached egg and smoked salmon on brown sourdough
2 slices chicken, Jersey natural yogurt with strawberries and blueberries
Frappé made with sugar free vanilla syrup and dash double cream
Chicken breast, Jersey royals and carrots
One gin and slimline with sugar free elderflower syrup (Tesseire)
Oppo chocolate and hazelnut ice cream (not buying this any more. Too delicious)

L: Egg, bacon & mayo on seeded sourdough butty, 3 small slices of watermelon, mullerlight yogurt.
Small slice of Victoria sponge cake to celebrate a colleague's 60th birthday, tea
T: 2 lamb chops, asparagus & baby potatoes, 3 glasses of red wine.

L: Ham & pickle butty on seeded sourdough, a pear & mullerlight yogurt. Coffee.

T: 2 burgers with cheddar & leek cheese, a few skin on fries & a few onion rings followed by a very naughty cornetto. Coke zero.
 
Poached egg on sourdough with smoked salmon
Small mixed salad, tuna, lemon and oil
Ice cream made with double cream, frozen raspberries and xylitol (it was hot!)
Dashing out so small slice sourdough, cream cheese and smoked salmon for a quick dinner
Cocoa made with whole Jersey milk
 
Had 2 slices of spelt bread toasted as a bruschetta 5.6 before 12.2 2 hours after won’t be doing that again
 
Just had a really bad reaction.

BG before lunch 5.9

Had raspberries, blueberries and Total 0% fat yoghurt at 4pm. I've had it before with no problems, but this time my BG jumped to 6.8 after an hour and then to 7.2 after two hours.

Don't really know why it didn't affect me like this the first time, but it has sure messed up my figures today.

No lunch,
Dinner , Turkey breast , plus leg , buttered green beans , 3 glasses wine
Supper , 2 ryvita with cheddar cheese ,
Creamy coffee, .... bs level at bedtime 5.6
