Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Breakfast .. Usual .. Homemade Alpen with unsweetened almond milk ..

Lunch homemade soup ... With one bread roll ... Soup was butternut squash ..with a touch of ginger .. Oooo yes a bit of cheese and an apple ..
Needed that before my walk and jog ... Loved that ..

Tonight .. Homemade veggie moussaka .... Really enjoyed that

Snacks ... One WW biscuits ... One slice soreen bread ..

Drinks one low cal hot chocolate ... Water and one glass no added sugar ginger beer ..
Wish I liked the no added sugar versions....can taste the sweetener :(
 
Breakfast - bran flakes with nuts and ffat milk
Snack - chocolate covered rice cake
Lunch - mushroom and Che's omelette followed by sugar free jelly
Dinner -birds eye fish sensations, asparagus and 3 new potatoes

Breakfast: usual "porridge" soya milk and cashew butter
Dinner: tuna mayo and 4 Krackawheat, half a flapjack
Tea: Cumberland sausage & gravy with salad (sounds odd I know but swapped mash and peas for salad.
Snacks: few grapes, 1 crisp cinnamon biccy.....so far ;) feel cheese and grapes coming on or.maybe sugarfree digestives with hazelnut butter and cream or cashew / peanut mix.....
 
scrambled egg and bacon for breakfast. seabass and cabbage for lunch.

Tonight frittata ... Homemade chips .. Baked in olive oil ... Baked tomatoes ...

My breakfast has disappeared.... I posted earlier that my usual brekky had spiked me to 8.1 from 5.3...... Was 5.9 at 3hrs....phew!! Usually a goodly portion of brekky stops at a max of 2.00 spike (wonder where I posted it :confused::confused:
Dinner was a Sainsburys mega brunch...ate 3 chips but all beans..... Yum yum...
Bean reading your posts for inspiration for tea. Had frittata in back of my mind to have so yep, confirmed, frittata. Mayb try peppers mushrooms ans spring onions

Apple

Soreen slice of bread ... Low cal,hot chocolate ..

Tonight roast veggie style .. Cauliflower cheese ... Parsnips carrots potatoes roasted in olive oil .. Just two small,portions of each ..
Later ... It will be SK YR yougurt
And some % chocolate ..
 
2 rice crackers smoked salmon and cuucumber for breakfast.
salad leaves chick peas and tomatos for lunch.
chicken breast and cauli for dinner.
 
For breakfast I had 3 Weetabix and a cup of coffee.

Lunch at work, was 4 part-baked white rolls from Aldi, filled with whatever my wife put in them!:) With a LT. bottle of water.

Supper, a re-heated small bowl of fresh pasta raviloli and LG glass of water.

Currently on PC doing this, with a pack of walnuts and another LG glass of water.

This thread is to record what you have eaten rather than a post mortem on testing and blood sugar levels of other people's choices.
 
Breakfast: usual "porridge" mix
Dinner: leftover chicken style roast wit butter fried mushrooms, sugar free lemon & lime jelly with banana flavour mousse made up wth soya milk
Tea: celery sticks, half block smoked cheese, grapes, Cheshire cheese, same pudding
Snacks 2 sugar free digestives with cinnamon hazelnut butter and squirty cream; cashews & peanuts
 
Breakfast - 2 slices brown toast with marmite

Lunch - Egg, bacon, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes.

Dinner - cheese, ham, baby tomatoes, savoury eggs and coleslaw.
 
Breakfast: Half a crushed weetabix, teaspoon flax seed with natural yoghurt and a couple raspberry's.

Lunch: To follow

Dinner: To follow
