Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

B/fast - bran flakes with hazelnuts and almonds with Full Fat milk
Midmorning - blueberry muffin ( yep I know but it was to celebrate somebody getting promoted and it looked lonely as it was the only one left - could have been worse there was rocky road and doughnuts there as well!!)
Lunch - cod fish cakes and salad
Tea - lamb cutlets, 2 x new potatoes and cauli cheese
 
Breakfast:
Apricot and almond cake & custard
Dinner:
Broccoli & salmon frittata...best one yet (6 eggs, 3/4 block strong cheddar, head of broccoli, large can salmon .... No herbs spices or anything....(had half)
Tea: not christened yet....but mayb other half of frittata

Not this time ;)....maybe its just an old Lancashire phrase...mum and grandma often used it when they didn't know what tea was going to be...
 
breakfast. 2 rice crackers smoked salmon tomato
lunch tuna salad leaves
dinner seabass with mixed salad of cabbage,onions,carrots,brussel sprouts,sunflower seeds
made the dressing with mustard,cider vinegar and quark.

lunch feta cheese olives salad leaves
dinner quorn sausages, onions,peppers,cauliflower

Breakfast:
Last of apricot and almond cake with custard....not one of my better bakes so glad it's gone
Dinner:
Lancashire & red Leicester cheese with green grapes...red go best wth cheese. Slice if home made date and walnut cake
Snack ... More cake (its good ;))
Tea: going to have a can of tomato and 3 bean soup....and mayb more cake later :D .....
 
B/Fast - Oat cereal with oat brab and flax seed and FFat milk
mid morning - choc covered rice cake
lunch - chicken salad followed by FFat greek yoghurt and blueberries
afternoon snackette - 10 blueberries and tablespoon of cornish clotted cream :hungry:
Tea - Pork with mushrooms, carrots annd onions in gravy with a tablespoon of mashed potato
 
Erm,
Breakfast: date and walnut cake
Dinner: can of bean soup and piece if date and walnut cake
Snack: Cox Apple
Tea: large lightly battered cod, chips and mushy peas
Snack: (didn't need it) another piece of cake....
Thank goodness It's home made, low GI and I can get away with it...my defence for so much is it's yummy, it's going dry, and the ingredients are too expensive to waste ;);) :hungry:

Could you freeze the cake?
I hate to waste food so I portion items to manageable sizes and freeze them.
