Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Thanks for that, I didn't know it reduces the carbs - I'll save it for a special treat
Potato, rice and pasta for me but I'm on insulin so some gets converted. Worth a try thou. Definately a difference on meter. Fresh to reheated, potato the most. Only small palm fill needed.
 
Wow 6.3 this morning. I don't think buckwheat pasta even a small portion is for me. As a comparison tested my non diabetic husband who had a much larger portion and his was 5.9. Felt a bit better after that.

I've not had pasta since I was diagnosed. Hubby (also diabetic) can manage a small portion ok without a big spike.
 
Good Morning! 6.9 at 0545 today.
A bit higher than usual. I think it's because I hadn't defrosted anything from the freezer yesterday, and as it was raining I didn't want to walk to the supermarket so I had wholemeal pasta with pesto last night. Fish tonight so should be lower tomorrow.
