Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

From reading the NICE guidelines it's advised to add a further medication on top of metformin if your number reaches 58, did your GP not consider this? Mine did and I asked for 3 months grace to get it down which I managed to do
Thanks for the response. TBH he seemed to want to get through the session as quickly as possible. Doctors are overworked to be fair. The reading did go up by 11 points, seemingly not related to anything I've done (I exercise, don't drink or smoke, and have a balanced diet). That said, I do now remember that I missed a few metformins in that period, maybe 7 days missed in 3 months. I did tell him this, he reckoned it might have had an effect. At least we'll see in 3 months time if the doubling the dosage has worked.

10.8 both yesterday and today, but seeing my GP this afternoon. I don't believe diet is causing this as it's better than ever. Worried about the appt. as recently there were liver function abnormalities too.

On any other meds..there are quite a number which can cause abnormalities in the liver function readings.
