A fbg of 7.0 I know exactly why. A bit of a celebratory evening . Back to my normal eating today. On old insulin it would have been 10+ @Cumberland. I still prefer toujeo300. You?

5.3 this morning - very wet here so went for a swim instead of a walk before breakfast.

Saw Dr yesterday about the tablets I am taking for anxiety - seeing as I had to postpone my diabetic review last week (Ofsted!) I asked her for my HbA1c result from my blood test two weeks ago. It was 39 (5.7 in old money) - very very happy with that!

5.4 this morning even after a somewhat unpleasant night and waking up with blood on the bedding from one of the bruises on my arm deciding to bleed in the night. Stings like mad I hate prednisolone.

4.2 this morning - was a bit surprised at this since I had an ice cream at the theatre last night (went to see Sister Act at the Palace Theatre - Manchester - brilliant!). Admittedly I did have some cheese when I got home so this may have counteracted the sugar rush from the ice cream!
