It's confusing to me as it says non diabetics should be lower than 7.6 after 2 hours which is so much higher. Is there a reason for the difference between non diabetic and diabetic suggested levels? Thanksto be honest, best is to have post pradial under 5,7 regardless the starting point. less than 2 points is good start. http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes/16422495.php
Thanks again . The info is helping me piece things together. Much appreciated.I mostly don't test before meals now. I am mostly eating only lunch and evening meal and my averages for those since March 9 are 5.2 and 5 so I assume pre prandial were fine. I do check sometimes and get about .5 changes. My average carbs for the year are 29. Big measure for me is average fibre which is 26 gms so I need to push up to 30+
