Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

And me

5.9 this morning after 2 glasses yesterday evening.
Malbec seems to work better than Pinotage. I’m going to try a few more to find out which is the champion.
I find. A nice Chilean Merlot or a cold Chardonnay are good . Gets me to low fives high fours at the weekends

I’m going for the cold dry whites today then as it’s so warm and sunny. Purely in the interest of research obviously.
@DJC3 Kir Royale weather methinks! Very hot hoeing around my raspberries - brilliant to be able to have shirt off and sun on my back in April.

@DJC3 If asked for an opinion my palate prefers Malbec. It does favour Pomerol and Medoc more but it can be coerced into Malbec!

I’m a big fan of Pinotage after touring the winelands of S Africa a couple of years ago. Mr C prefers Malbec though so it depends who buys it really.

Which to have eh - we really do have first world problems. I also have a collection of Monbazillac which goes very well with Foie Gras. I do like the Perigord Noir. Very easy to come close to divorce canoeing down the Dordogne!
