Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

8.2 this morning about 1/2 hour after waking so not as good as it has been but much better than the continual upper doubles (If I was lucky) that I used to get. Seems that cutting out the high carbs, especially bread and spuds and taking the meds as prescribed is working but still struggling with what to have for breaky because even a small portion of the home made musli and porridge pushes my BS straight into double figures and it gets boring eating some sort of egg concoction every day.
Hi @Pete01 welcome to the group. Why don't you just have a coffee or tea for breakfast? If you need to eat have a look on the "what have you eaten today" thread in the Low Carb Diet Forum. There is also the Food, Nutrition and Recipe's forum for ideas.:)

No rewards? That avatar should be reward enough - looks amazing (I really do get worried about seeming like an old letch offering compliments to young ladies:arghh:)
Aw bless you Ian compliments always gratefully received, especially when they include the words “young lady”
Yes you’re right about the photograph being a reward I have come quite a way from my starting point last October, not always easy to recognise the changes in ourselves for ourselves and sometimes I think my “obsession” with numbers can over shadow my achievements, weight loss, improved health and fitness so thank you for reminding me :)

You are welcome. At times people can forget the "as yourself" part of "love thy neighbour as thyself":)

A 7.4 this morning. On average 2-3 on target fbgs a week.
Not on forum as much as normal but I cannot rely on the Internet in 6wks as I'd rather spend money on days out.
Great achievements my fellow type2s. :)
Good to hear from you @ickihun. Take care of yourself and the little huns :)
