Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Resounding success from what I’m reading well done to everyone, glad to be a part of the journey/story even though this time my support was in spirit only.

All these new avatars are turning these threads into the supermodel threads, Have some sympathy for us Elephant Man doubles

I note below, from post, I agree, perhaps such as being vitally important tool and knowledge and info to have and have hope on this, as many websites state clearly, D2 its a chronic and progressive disease, medications probably needed rest of life,
yet they do not give any incentive or information, this may not be the case if one has the tools knowledge to reverse it, why is the question? by all means post the not so good, but same time, how about displaying some positive to give people a guide generally, such as below...

The general theme, Diabetes does NOT HAVE to be the progressive disease we are told it is when diagnosed. We can take control of our health and our futures by simple changes in our lifestyle. We can and have put the beast in remission and many have also lost a lot of weight in the process.

good morning all

4.3 today

Everyone has such nice avatar pics thinking of having a new one myself since I've 'gone public' with my before and after. Lovely sunny day here and I'm contemplating sorting out a cupboard.

Have a good day everyone

Hi, late post but I’m back in the world of internet, weekend break over it was lovely though and for the first time I relaxed completely about carbs.
During the 3 days I had a real pizza with sensible toppings, a piece of battered fish but I promise I removed at least 99.9% of the batter, an ice cream and several cappuccinos, everything else was my normal low carb choices.
I think emotionally it did me good to just ease up on the reins a little bit, awareness was there and I continued to check, I’m quite sure if things had gone scarily wayward I would have tightened up but don’t feel I needed too. Highest reading for the entire weekend was this morning of 6.4 but that first fasting test is always my highest so I’m ok with it. Now I’m home and settled it’s back in the very low 5’s so I think I’m getting back to normal, well normal for me
