Thanks @DJC3 I have been in 4s once or twice in the period I was off Metformin. I took 1 yesterday morning to see what would happen. Post in chat thread gives a fuller account. Can't help thinking, sometimes, this is all a trendy form of self harm and certainly virtue signalling

6.2 today, bit later taking my reading and more carbs than normal yesterday, almost my normal daily allowance consumed at breakfast time! Today is a new day so a chance to start again
