Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

    Hi Jemz have u dropped from 4 metformin straight to 1 or have u done it gradually ?

    Morning all, 13.1 today (15.8 during the night & felt rough). Sneaks back in to join you all, actually felt frightened in the night as felt so spaced out. Anyway, enough about me, I hope you are all doing well.

    I am ridiculous. From 4 to 1.
    I don't believe I need 4. I've only been on them for about 6 weeks, and then only 2 of them at 4 a day. Slow release. And still having a bit of a laxative effect on me.

    No science or methodology here. Just wilfulness

    I had put the evening walk after meals,it seems to reduce the BG reading in the mornings.

    I think I'd have to agree with you. My usual routine is walking the dog after dinner. Too much socialising this week has got in the way.

    Hi @Jemz try dropping your Metfornin gradually, say 3 a day for a week then 2. :)
