Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

11.7 this morning after first day on sitagliptin.

Been told to stay on these for at least 3 months till the next HbA1c (currently 67). Since January (HbA1c of 63) tried gliclazide, then glimepiride but FBGs all between 10-13. Fingers crossed the new drug will work over time. Otherwise the DSN said it'll be combinations or daily insulin. At least she was happy with my diet and exercise.

either a 7.0 or 6.7 straight after..
i guess the average fbs of the last seven to ten days is about 6.5 and returning to an average of 5.6 before evening meal
not too happy with it ..just plod on i suppose..
 
Stabbo has me pegged at 5.3 today which is a poor return for LC woe IMHO but in the circs it may be better than it appears. #kneegate improved with naproxen and tea,tea,tea. 2 granddaughters for the price of one today and the jewel in the crown - grandson- after school
