Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Wonder if it's the alcohol that lowered your bg I find it does for me ( not that I have had a drink since christmas )

The alcohol for me tends to make it rise others tend to get it lower definitely strange
 
Hi all, been a silent observer here for awhile and joined the forum to share something.

This morning I received a 4.9 reading at 08:20. For comparison, 3 weeks ago I had my highest ever morning fasted reading of 16.1.

After being diagnosed 4 years ago I never had the discipline to change. But a combination of worsening symptoms and seeing how well people were doing on this forum gave me the inspiration I needed and I'm never going back to my old ways.

I've got a long way to go, but just wanted to share and say thank you.
