Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

4.5 this morning
Another Hot one today around 100F

Yup - infection in general can increase BS or just make it yo-yo, as can anti-biotics...may take a wee while to settle but not unusual. I'm coming to the conclusion that heat, cold, sun, rain, Tuesdays and a wide range of anything...impacts BS! Just keep drinking plenty of the right kind of fluid. Don't worry.

Nice!

Muzza (which used to be my own nickname once upon a time)...your blood sugar reading makes me smile...your lovely hot weather makes me frown...it's freezin here! Out of consideration for the Scots..lie about it for once!

5.7 again at 8.50 this am....so that's a few in a row now in that area...omg...consistency!

Hi there all,

Hi - I'm still trying to get closer to 5.0 but I am getting there, like many others, by eating very few carbohydrates at all. If it's new to you..check out info on low carb diets.
