Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.9 this morning.... 4.9 Last night 2 hours after dinner... I had a hot cocoa with half cream half water and 1/2 teaspoon of stevia before bed and after i did my 2 hours after dinner test.... So the cocoa powder pushed the figure way up over night. It was not the cream, as i had a lowish reading after dinner and there was loads of cream in the stroganoff.

BG @8.50am was 7.9
Had a better nights sleep hence late posting K
not hot chocolate this time either has to have been that half a pizza while we were at Trafford Centre yesterday, but has explained I didn’t have much choice my BG was extremely low needed food and no other cafes at Barton Square .
Back to Coffee and cream for Breakfast this morning.

It seems that some members are confused about the purpose of the fasting blood glucose threads. Unfortunately, this confusion is starting to get out of hand, and the threads are being derailed. To clarify, there are three fasting blood glucose threads. This is how they ought to be used:-

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

For people with T2 diabetes. Report your fasting level, maybe a short sentence about how you feel about it. Do not engage in lengthy conversations with others. The purpose is to report fasting level, so that ought to be the content of the post.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

For anyone to report fasting blood glucose, regardless of type of diabetes, a sentence or two, about how you feel. Perhaps you know the reason for your BG level. If so mention it. If you choose to make a supportive comment to another member, fine. Do so. Keep it short, and simple.

To keep threads on track, any deviation from the purpose of the thread will need to be edited, and any members continuing to derail will receive temporary thread bans.

The good news is that there is a perfect thread for those wanting a more social engagement with their blood glucose reports.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

This is a thread for those chatterboxes who not only enjoy letting us know their daily fasting level but also like to engage in friendly banter above and beyond the simple 'hello'. I am not known for my banter but I do enjoy hearing from the regulars about how their day is going, feeds my soul...

No restrictions on amount of chat here. Report your fasting blood glucose and chat away. Keeping within the forum ethos of inclusivity, of course.
