Unfortunately, the body adapts to the continued presence of a drug and IME switching to an alternative seldom proceeds smoothly12.2 this morning (and 17.2 at a random point in the afternoon). Got in touch with my GP and he's increased my Glimepiride to max dosage too. So, now on 45mg Pioglitazone and 4mg Glimepiride. Hoping for better numbers shortly (normally in the 8s and 9s, which isn't great, but I'd take that now).
