This mornings was much better BG 5.1 mmol/L before medication or eating. Brisk 1.6km walk outta bed.

Well its obvious I was wrong. Or something is. I took bloods at 8.04 this morning on getting up. 13.2. SHOCK HORROR!!!

Decided to do it again. Dufferent finger different hand new test strip. 8.11am. 9. How is this possible. Is it normal. Im depressed!!!!!

7.1 today, very high. I think it might have something to do with 2 chocolate bars last night and 3 Snickers Ice Creams... I couldn’t help it….although 3 hours after all this it was 6.0

When this happens, more often than not, it's the first test which is unreliable for any number of reasons. You were right to retest.
