Morning @PatsyB and welcome back. We're pleased you could join us once again.

Most of us on this FBG thread for type 2s (and the parallel thread for all comers) test as soon as we get out of bed; not because it's the 'correct' fasting level, but because it provides a useful benchmark for day to day comparison.

BGs rise once we start to move around. Testing when we wake makes the conditions pre test as close to identical as possible.
