Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Fbg 4.3 :) :)
Remembered metformin and liver dump block.
After a day of rest too.
Keeping active is one thing but being a martyr is another.

A shameful 9.9, but I feel like I've got my mojo back. I've realised that one barrier to my managing my diabetes is how isolated I've been feeling. I work in a healthcare setting surrounded by nurses with big hearts but limited understanding of diet controlled diabetes. It's a treat rich environment and I'm constantly being offered alternatives that are every bit as bad as the cake they're trying to save me from. Then I get cross and feel sorry for myself. And eat the cake. Adding to my problem and their confusion. LOL as the young folk say.
So I'm coming back to my tribe....
I know what you mean. When I have pork scratchings im looked at like a looney. Then I persist and lose a few lbs, they back off. I get fruit pushed on me. Not anymore. I know what wirks for me and when I can rough it. They haven't a clue. Seeing dietician soon. Ive lost but only because ive gone back low carb after trying 150g carb and adding insulin to cover carbs.
