Give it time. Keep up the good work and you will see results. It can take a few weeks but well worth it. You'll feel liberated.Morning all 10.7 no carbs last night so disappointed not coming down quicker
You can always post here:4.2 yesterday, 5.1 today. I'm on a full testing regime for a little while so will start another thread and hope some of you will be so kind as to comment on my diet and my numbers. So far it's looking pretty much as I hoped it would but since my last hba1c was a 7 then I still need to find the culprit.
Fairly sure it was me.
I tested hourly through the night to find when my bgl started to rise... this is because of slow release carbs... may be ok after 2 hours but start to rise after that!3 pints of coors light, a midnight feast, and a lower than expected 6.2
@Quirkybee time to use the data cable, and look at your trends. e.g. Are your morning readings starting to develop a pattern (It might be a bit soon) but the point is trends are more important than spot readings
