Accuracy might be an issue, but enjoy the number until you're sure4.7 this morning according to my brand new accu-check mobile so not too sure of the accuracy of this reading.

You can do it!! Hang in there!8.8 this morning but way too much sweet stuff yesterday. 215g of carbs in total - 125 of which was choccy/sugar related. Bit too addicted to choccy brazil nuts ATM. Still better than my old average of 380g a day, before I started to make an effort to reduce carbs. Determined to get them back to 100-120 which seemed to be working OK both BG and weight loss-wise.
Well done you!!Forgot to mention before that I have been a member of this forum for a year now joining on the 25.06.2016.
This particular thread has given me the incentive to get my fasting levels down. Getting them under six was my target and I have managed to do this with the occasional jump back, but it has been to something I ate or dirty fingers that caused the problem.
My three monthly average from my Diabetic Journal on my phone is 5.7 mmol/L which is just a bit higher than m last hba1c reading of 5.4%.
Thanks to all of you good people who have encouraged me with a bit of humour and encouragement.![]()
