Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

8.8 this morning but way too much sweet stuff yesterday. 215g of carbs in total - 125 of which was choccy/sugar related. Bit too addicted to choccy brazil nuts ATM. Still better than my old average of 380g a day, before I started to make an effort to reduce carbs. Determined to get them back to 100-120 which seemed to be working OK both BG and weight loss-wise.
You can do it!! Hang in there!

Forgot to mention before that I have been a member of this forum for a year now joining on the 25.06.2016.

This particular thread has given me the incentive to get my fasting levels down. Getting them under six was my target and I have managed to do this with the occasional jump back, but it has been to something I ate or dirty fingers that caused the problem.

My three monthly average from my Diabetic Journal on my phone is 5.7 mmol/L which is just a bit higher than m last hba1c reading of 5.4%.

Thanks to all of you good people who have encouraged me with a bit of humour and encouragement.
