Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Have to agree with others @jayney27 your picture looks great.:happy: You have done so well and its always nice when people comment on how well you look and your weight loss. ;)
Thank you, everyone has been very kind and complimentary. The picture was taken to go into the inspirational booklet that @Debandez is putting together, I was surprised by the transformation myself, hadn’t realised how far I’d come so it was quite motivating for me too.

@Kiggy

Hello Kiggy and welcome to the Forum :) Here, in my signature, are links to the Basic Information for new members and to the Low Carb Program. Ask questions when you need to and someone will be able to help.

Here’s the link to the pod cast on iPlayer of the show on BBC Radio Oxford where I was interviewed this morning about my Diabetes diagnosis etc...!
I’m on at about 2hrs 42 after Cliff for anyone who fancies a listen!

Excellent interview, Rachel, & thanks for the link. (You do have good radio programmes in your neck of the woods!)

11.4:( and desperate!

Hi @jennyblogs, welcome to the forum and don’t despair, I’ve had a look back through my records and I had a 12.2 just a month ago. I still get the odd 9 and 10 but less often. You’re in the right place for support, test before eating and two hours after, tell us what you’re eating and when. I know people with more knowledge than me will then give you their experiences to help you get this thing under control.

Good morning all 6.9 for me this morning :) Its the highest I've had for months but I'm eating a little more ( and had a couple of drinks) as doing a fast again from tonight, so not that worried :happy: Have a good day everyone. :)

Hopefully, tomorrow's numbers will be much lower after the fast.
