Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Got up this morning and I felt like I had a hang over (didn't drink last night) done my test 14.1 what can I say

FBG 5.0 this morning, sore throat turning into a head cold.

6.9 is this due to the 4 chocolates I ate on Wednesday night? Readings yesterday were all much higher than normal too - #sheesh

4.7 after a day of much stricter eating.

After losing some weight I do seem to have better insulin sensitivity and have been experimenting with it. It's clear that yes, treats I don't spike me as much as they used to, but the underlying BG level starts to creep up if I have them too often.

I count my self as a "lucky diabetic" (if there can be such a thing) because I was diagnosed early, don't really have any associated symptoms and I suit a LCHF lifestyle. But I won't remain a lucky diabetic if I get complacent and recent days have just shown me that again.

One small glass of red wine last night helped with my FBG of 4.6 this morning.
