Morning 5.0 for me this morning. No work today was in A+E last night with silly chest sounds like it was weather and pollen that set it off. Got home at 3am.

5.2 mmol / L this morning.
5.4 mmol / L at bed time.

Very happy with that as lye in past my dawn phenomenon (which I expected to elevate my reading) today.

Flax and milled chia seed are much kinder and better for you than wheat of any shape... :)

Thanks for that Susikav, I don't eat cereals of any kind, except oatcakes which I make, not very often now, just so that others might have them if they wish. I used to keep a couple handy, in case I was away from my usual food sources, but I find one or two Babybel cheeses fulfil the same function, without any spiking at all.

This was really a reply to @Boo jewel who had a problem with tummy noises, and someone, @Nosher, I think, gave me a tip about drinking more water, when I was afflicted when doing the ND, and which I was pleased to pass to a fellow sufferer. It can be embarrassing when one's innards are making more comments than the voice!

Sorry to hear about your late night, hope you get some rest today.

Morning all

5.1 for me this morning. Quite pleased with that as it was up at 6.3 before tea yesterday, which is a little higher than I like to see it.

But I had a session with the Doc yesterday which involved a steroid injection into my knee and I think that caused a bit of a raised level last time too.

Full set of blood tests tomorrow (oh Joy...) so we'll get to see what the old HbA1c is
