6.4 this morning, after a 5.1 at bedtime.

Starting to think this early morning test is a bit of a waste of time, as I know when I test in a couple of hours it will be 5 something.

Morning lovely people. An ok 5.4 today. Not bad considering my hubby made Key Lime pie from scratch yesterday & I couldn't resist a slice after dinner. Oh goodness....it was better than a kiss from George Clooney! :)

Ok @Baruney....the following are especially for @Larissima, who is experiencing brain fog when it comes to testing. ;) These ones made me smile. X

Sounds like my diary. Thanks for reminding me where I left my coffee mug!

Morning troops

6.0 fasting.

Bloods, energy levels, discipline, weight, will to live all heading in the wrong direction and that's only after day 2 in CockneyLand.

No one to blame but myself but plan was work, run, be good. Reality of the situation was work, work, carb load! I'm 20 miles down on run schedule and with countless coffee shops, kebab houses, tescos and sainsburys all within a 3 minute stroll my planned meals are still in the fridge and there is no where left to hide any incriminating evidence!

I don't know if anyone watched Bear Grills - the Island which asked the question can modern man (and later woman) survive on an island without modern comforts. I would like to see the reverse. The Cockneys. Take some sane, healthy, blood sugars controlled, non stressed and polite people from an island and dump them in central london!

BTW - I've patented that.

Hello folks,

I don't function very well if my BG drops to below 4.5. I function better around 5 to 5.5. Had a stinking headache & checked my levels...meter read 4.2. I'm not a snacker. But I reckon I need something between meals to stop BG dropping to painful levels for me. Any ideas of what could help would be appreciated. Btw, I'm not a lover of nuts, eggs, most meat & Greek yoghurt.

I'm adding the following just because I LOVE seniors....they're all, by definition, slightly bonkers, which makes me laugh. My Ma still drives everyday at the age of 83. She was mortified when she got a speeding fine through the post last week. Lmao. X
