Hello folks,

I don't function very well if my BG drops to below 4.5. I function better around 5 to 5.5. Had a stinking headache & checked my levels...meter read 4.2. I'm not a snacker. But I reckon I need something between meals to stop BG dropping to painful levels for me. Any ideas of what could help would be appreciated. Btw, I'm not a lover of nuts, eggs, most meat & Greek yoghurt.

I'm adding the following just because I LOVE seniors....they're all, by definition, slightly bonkers, which makes me laugh. My Ma still drives everyday at the age of 83. She was mortified when she got a speeding fine through the post last week. Lmao. X

Have you tried berries or cherries I often have some mid afternoon. Any fruit except apples seems to suit me.

Hi Alisonjane10, I manage that with reduced time between meals, and definitely more butter , nuts, eggs, meat, Greek yogurt and leave all fat on meats;-)

I'm sure many have received an email from DCUK about worrying developments about higher risks of Diabetic ketoacidosis for T2s on Forxiga. Anyone knows anything? I am on Forxiga. What exactly am I supposed to be looking out for warning signs?
Thanks in advance:-)
Moshe
