Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

This morning:
Blood Glucose 7.5 mmol / L
Blood Ketones 0.2 mmol / L

Before bed:
Blood Glucose 5.9 mmol / L
Blood Ketones 0.4 mmol / L

Blood Glucose 5.8 mmol / L when woke from sleep terror in the night! :(
 
Its a saying from the USA marines. It means that when things get tough [ ie as in a battle or struggle] then the determined and strong willed [ tough, resilient characters] get going ie apply themselves to the challenge , generally meant to be the fight for life.
Hope this is clear ?
I personally think its a great saying, simple and honest.

It seems I was on the right lines with the intended message from the saying. I understand it so much better after your clear explanation.
 
Friday, 3.8mmol/L at 6.15am. Sunny and cold this morning. Freezing rain this afternoon. Log chopping competition with younger family members. Did not disgrace myself!
 
Sorry to read this. Do you think it may be weather or spikes related?
Morning dunelm no not weather related been getting them since just before i was diagnosed they are cluster head aches
 
5.7 this morning, following a 6.1 @ 22.00 yesterday night.
Had my blood test fot HbA1c and cholesterols done today, results hopefully on Monday, appointment with Diabetes Consultant Tuesday pm, hoping for the better :-)
Weight dropped to 115.8 Kg, which is another 1Kg / 2.2 lbs in a week ;-)
