Thankyou all for such kind messages whilst I have been spotty. Thankfully rash has gone temp better and although coughing for england I'm slowly on the mend. Bgs have been up and down mainly up in the 8.5 region. Things can only get better

Good to see you are on the mend. Don't worry about your BS readings. They were bound to be higher. You'll be back to normal soon.

Nor mine. Despite temp being warmer face aching outdoors. Cant do scarf over face thing as feel can't breathe; nose is clear tho :)

6.2 Bed Far too late 1.16am Had a square 70% choc just before going.
4.7 Fasting/Breakfast, Great number & considering have woke up with something like 'Laryngitis'
7.2 1hr Had 1/2 Apple, Yogurt, Flax & Sprinkling of Granola
6.5 2hr
Weight has held, over xmas

I have Tesco's seeded which is quite nice - used to have Burgen but whilst it was fine for toasting it was too dry for sandwiches so I changed and have no probs with my BS levels.
Sainsbury's bakery does a wonderful multi-seeded. Thought they'd stopped doing it but they upgraded it to their Taste the Difference range

I just came on to say 5.4 before dinner.......twice cooked pork belly with the best crackling ever.........so good! Oh and no veg tonight I just want the crackling!

Hello All,

Hope you are all well and fitting fit. :D

I have seen the thread in fasting blood glucose, but was wondering what they are for only Type 2's.

Mine are between 4.5 and 6.0 depending on what I have eaten / drunk the night before.

Cheers

Welcome to the thread. I wondered that at first but I'm only pre-diabetic but the lovely guys and gals here haven't kicked me out yet ;). Been posting quite a while now.

9.2 mmol/l. Still feeling unwell but an improvement on yesterday. Day 3 of antibiotics and drinking plenty fluids. Took some painkillers and ate something before injection. Going back to bed for a lay down, still tired.
Glad you're taking care if yourself

Elevated 6.2 for me this morning.......felt awful yesterday with throat and head, flushed cheeks. Ate nothing any different to usual but after my homemade soup at lunch my appetite went and evening "meal" was simply raspberries and cream, I did my usual virtually carb free hot chocolate at bed though and was 6 the, not my usual 5's. Virus inflicted I'm guessing.....
Get well soon
