Before brekkie, 6.4 but did have with a cup of tea in bed a choccy flake very small from Marks (naughty) then had bowl of Alpen cerial with Alpro milk, 2 hours later 6.3

I'm going to start posting my levels as an encouragement for those of us who are struggling and single figures are still a dream!
It's taken me 8 weeks to get my FBG levels down from 19s to....

4.6 which is interesting as I didn't do my usual amount of exercise last night. Someone challenged me to climb 100 flights of stairs yesterday, so I did, doing the last 20 flights in the early evening.

Up at 05:00 - 5.8. Actually got up at 08.00 - 5.6 :shock: Why should it go down?

I think the heat is affecting mine. A little higher than I like, but still well within T2 range, and only just out of non-diabetic.

Hello All,

I was a 6.0mmol this morning, when i checked..

But I was woken up at 7.20am, then fell asleep again then woke up at 8:30am and checked then...

So dont know if that makes a difference..

This morning was 4.7, most days it's around 4.6 used to be on Gliclicide but now I control my B G diet only. I hope I can keep this up.
