8.8! :( Think it may be because I had really bad leg cramps in the night, several times so was not a happy bunny.

Hi 8 people! I joined you this morning -- 8.5. Haven't been that high in many months. Basically happened because for no reason yesterday evening my pancreas thought 'Hang on, I remember -- i'm meant to produce lots of insulin' and my Bg levels plummeted after a normal meal and standard gliclazide dose. Had to hit the jelly babies to recover, hence the fasting reading. One of those 'oh sod it' days..... :***:

I agree you need these sod it days to keep you on track for 99% of the time. I had one of those at the weekend, trouble was it covered the whole of the weekend :lol: it was my birthday though so am excused :mrgreen:

GM, 6.9 after a glass of red wine and about 12 Pringles, I guess i can live with that.

A wicked day yesterday! Well, okay during the day, but a rare meal out in the evening. I had smoked haddock fish cakes to start - bigger than I anticipated, and steak pie with suet crust and chips :shock: :oops: :oops: . Didn't finish either chips or crust, but still . . .! No pud.

Was quite pleased to be 6.4 less than 2 hours later; 5.9 this morning, though. I slept for nearly 10 hours so was up late. Back in control now :D .

3.7 pre-bed, then ate an oatcake.

4.8 this morning (had been lying awake in bed for ages before I surfaced, cue the DP)

5.7 this morning :think: wish I knew who was drip feeding me glucose through the night.
