Yes, it's not a bad figure, but when you are used to 4's it's not good. HbA1c fasting blood test in the morning 9am sharp! :lol:

Yes what's that all about Jo. Back in April I was waking up low to mid 4's but the past few weeks its's gone back to high 5's and yesterday at 9.00am was 6.9 Wouldn't let it get to you though. Good news today though was 4.9. Good luck with the hBA1!

I have been keeping BG records consistently for the last year. There have been lots of times when my blood glucose reading has gone up without any obvious reason. There have been other times when it has come down and been lower than I would have expected. I did worry about it - until I realised what the reason is. I am a human not a machine and humans are inherently variable things - simples!
