5.7 this morning and I am gobsmacked as last night I had curry,(shop bought), 2 chappatti, and an onion bargie, (excuse spelling). I have had worse than this after a smocked mackerel salad. Will never understand this crazy illness. :? :? :?

6.1 at 08:30 today. I'm finding it quite difficult to increase my carbs up to 150g per day for this GGT - my brain doesn't seem to want to eat them any more!

HbA1c back yesterday - 5.2, which I'm really pleased with. My total cholesterol was 5.7, which I don't have a problem with, but my total:HDL ratio was 5.7 also, and I'm not happy with that! My GP seems to have no problem with it, though. Everything else seems to be okay.

Well done Viv, 5.2% is excellent. Even better, you managed despite stuffing yourself with strawberries all summer!

I/ve heard a few people say this and a theory hat it could be the spices in the curry keeping levels low. Not a cuury-eater myself so can't comment from personal experience :)

Got up late and it had gone up to 7.3 :(

5.2 yipee!!! 2hrs after breakfast 5, even better!! Finished work for a 10 day break so lack of stress could account for it. Any chance I can get a permanent sick note saying I'm allergic to my job? :lol:

Hi all, had a shock this morn BS reading shot back up to 10.3 gggrrrr! :evil:
Been cranking up the levemir every week and had got some middle 9 readings, was both chuffed and relieved they were finally starting to come a bit lower than in the last 2years.
After this morn fasting reading, am not so convinced yet! :?

6.4 fasting, a little higher than usual as its normally 5. something.

8.0 2 hours after breakfast :shock: Tested twice, first test 8.5 :oops:

My usual breakfast and it normally only puts me up by 0.5 ish at the most. Don't know why its such a difference today.
