Last night's was 17.7 and this morning's was 11.7...

At work this week, I've eaten walnuts, cherry tomatoes and Braeburn apples in an attempt to eat healthily...

I'm puzzled...

It could be the apples Botty. I am allowing myself a quarter of one in salad at the moment. Are you eating many of them?

Well done both of you, super, super results. I was 6.1 this morning, the low side of my average.

Dont know if I am getting excited to soon but really pleased this morning.
To give you an idea why I am pleased is beacuse my first ever fasting test ( done by chemist 4 days ago ) was 18.8

today is 9

I am really pleased as I am new to all this :)

5.1 this morning which seems to be about my average now.

4.6 this morning for me.... but I range between 4 - 5.2 usually. If I go higher it's because I've had a hypo early hours of the morning.... sometimes I wake up and sometimes I don't... either way I can tell as I have the post hypo feeling and the BGLs can go up to 6.5 if that happens. I should mention I have an endo appt this month and he will probably want to get me above 5 in the mornings as he doesn't like me to be in the 4's at all. He reckons that's dangerous. When I'm awake if I'm in the 4's I drop quick to 3's and I hypo.... maybe that's his theory too... keep a safe level.

I'm not testing this weekend, for the same reason I'm avoiding the bathroom scales :shock:

I had a craving for chocolate eclairs yesterday. If you buy the frozen ones and eat them just before they are completely thawed, the cream is ever-so-slightly crunchy. Mmmm!

Didn't buy any, though - frozen or otherwise! :angel: :( :lol:

:lol: Yes all went down hill from that point now sitting two hours after my normal 50g Plain Greek yoghurt brekkie at 8.1 :shock: Haven't seen an 8 since the day of Nurse Nightshade back at the beginning of Feb. Oh well must be coming down with something I expect. All my family here for Easter which is nice, good to sit and talk and catch up on what my brood are up to. Have a nice Easter Viv and well done on the eclairs you did far better than I did with the hot cross buns :lol:

Up at the ungodly hour of 5am ( for an airport run) I broke the 6 barrier at 5.9!! So I'm a very happy (Easter) bunny! :D

Pinched one of darling daughters test strips, 6.2 at 9am. Not too worried about that, I am ill at the moment and taking antibiotics and steroid meds which push up levels (or so I have been told?).

I'm more interested in the results after my roast chicken dinner later on. :)

6.5 which is the highest for several days.

5.0 which was lovely and then I messed it up by having a little tiny cake when I was out for coffee this morning :(
