Didn't wake up until 9.00am so the DP damage had been done by then! That is an advantage of working for yourself and mostly at home as the commute time between bed and office is around 30 seconds. The disadvantage is you tend to end up working very late

My last paid employment was home-based, so I know the feeling. I also had a data-input contract for the 'Parks & Gardens' website and for a year quite often worked 7 days a week  . The money was good.

Now I have to get up to open the curtains. If I leave it too late the neighbours come and bang on the door to make sure I haven't died   . This is a great place to live. :D

Not posted in ages so here goes

10.8 woke up bed sheets soaking with sweak again!!!

Never had test strips in a long time so bought some from ebay to have a look at whats going ons o guess thats not good.

Have to admit im rebelling at the moment and not took my glucophage for 2 weeks and think i'm paying the price

Thing is My HBA1c has never been over 6.9 even on first diagnosis back in 2008 so got it in my head that i really didnt need to start the drugs in 2010 and that "they" were wrong so decided to have a go without think i may have been wrong?

Brian

Well the glucophage will be knock 1 or 2 off your levels and it's pretty good for your heart...

Nothing wrong with being the rebellious type!

Good luck Brain, I can see from your sig you know what works so you don't need any lectures.

Keep posting!

Yes you live in a brilliant part of the country. Believe it or not MW & I honeymooned in your part of the world and then came back for a holiday for our 25th anniversary. It is unique and beautiful countryside an absolutely stunning part of the world. We visit it as often as we can.

Swings and roundabouts and sometimes I wonder (for me) if the bad out weighs the good, as people can get you 'at work' all the time. Nice not to be dictated by strict routine though.

See you did the Newcastle thing a while back. How's it going since you finished it?

Mine was 5.3 and I'm now getting irritated, where have all my 4's gone :x

Re: Type 2's : What was your fasting blood glucose in a morn

My 4s must be in the same place. 5.3 for me too - this is getting silly!

My problem is too much wine and 4 oatcakes at bed-time.

5.2 I know I moan at almost daily 5.0 and want them to change, but I want them downwards, not up! You listening body?

Re: Type 2's : What was your fasting blood glucose in a morn

4.7 this morning :) and believe it or not but this is not a good figure for me.... I'm supposed to stay above 5 at all times (as per request from my endo). It may mean I have to reduce basal... but I'm getting mixed numbers at the moment so probably too soon for that.
