5.6 before dinner
6.6 after dinner of gammon and salad. I did not expect it to be so high really after just salad and no dressings

4.5 for my 27th Wedding Anniversary today

I completely forgot it again..... but redeemed myself once he told me.... and eventually remembered I did have a pressie for him in the cupboard :singing:

In return I got a beautiful set of pliers, bless him

Funny you should say that but last year I got the missus a cordless drill for ours.
She's wanted one for ages ... loves it uses it and never stops telling people .... best present she ever had!

7.0 This morning after very late dinner in London last night. Didn't get home till gone 10:30pm. Scan went OK get the results when I go back next week

What was in your salad?
I bought a pack of those Italian salads leaves small cucmber half tomato and gammon steak was just put on the pan with olive oil and pepper on it. It had rocket baby spinach and some other reddish leaves and some lettuce

Such a useless gp waited for 45 mins to see her and when asked for a1c which was only done back in november she said we only do once in 6 months. And swelling on the finger is due to friction that's it. All in spent 40 to may be 60 seconds

8.1 fasting reading this morning.

Since I started testing at the beginning of February I've rarely been below a fasting reading of 7.something - even when going to bed in the 6's.

:D I do jewellery making @Bluetit1802
I could think of nothing I wanted or needed more than a nice set of pliers and a wooden stand......
Other than a nice set of cutters maybe.
Think it might be cutters for Xmas ;) Tronex or Lindstrom If I'm lucky :playful:

I like the way your starting to drop the subtle hints nice and early for Christmas.

Just want to know I had few things to ask him and my gp has a policy of only solving one problem in one appointment. He/she always have this reason up there sleeve that there r too many people in the queue. I also told her that met is not suiting me at all its been 6 months plus now and she just said take another appointment we discuss it then. Absolutely crazy. And when you call for next appointment there is nothing for 2 weeks ever and after two weeks they wouldn't give.

Diet needs looking at?

How these GP's vary. Mine is just the opposite. My hubby went recently for his statin review. He then went shopping. Meanwhile, the phone rang. It was the GP. Would I get him to ring her. He did. She said that as he was leaving her room she had heard him cough, and would he pop back to see her at 5pm. He did. She tested his chest, said it sounds all clear but referred him for a spirometer test and chest Xray just to make sure! Now that is good service! :)

Same at our doctors, they are only treating the symptom, ( and only one symptom ) not the person, I think it is so wrong.

Sounds like you have a very good gp hang on to her.

Two years ago I was taking a urine sample into the doctor, colour bright red! He did blood test to check my diabetes. When I returned for results two weeks later. I asked why I had blood in my urine, he said he didn't know. Glad that doctor has left the practice, because I would refuse to see him again.

Diet needs looking at?

I've totally changed my diet since the beginning of February and have not had any potatoes, pasta, rice or my beloved artisan white bread. I only occasionally have a slice of Seed Sensations or Burgen Soya and Linseed.

Yesterday my food intake was:

Greek style coconut yogurt, mixed berries & 50 grams granola (after 2 hours 5.8)

1 large cup of homemade vegetable soup (after 2 hours 7.7)

Casserole lamb shank and Celeriac mash (after 2 hours 5.7)

Coconut yoghurt and raspberries (after 2 hours 7.2)

I think the coconut yoghurt didn't do me any favours as it's 10.4 g per 100g compared to my usual 5.1g.
