hello!
I held the anticipation that I could make tzatziki with double cream, so that I would transform my favorite tzatziki into a fat bomb but it didn't work
I could not get rid of the creamy sweetish taste of cream that resembles desserts, no matter how much salt, garlic and vinegar I put
so is there any other idea?
I was thinking to make mayo-tzatziki, would that work? I am afraid it will taste like mayo (with that heavy taste and smell) and not like tzatziki
but I am pretty sure that there must be some dairy product higher in fat than yogurt and with much longer shelve life, but I cannot find it
any help?
thanks!
PS: this product seems ideal: http://kronosfoodsinc.com/products-and-brands/food-service-products/sauces-dips/ it says is thicker with longer shelf life and it can be base for tzatziki, is there something like this in supermarkets?
