Hello.
This is a very comprehensive website, and I'm sure it has helped lots of people.
I'm 59, 8st 10llbs , and in the process of blood tests that I know will lead to a diagnosis because I am 25% Indian, and my father and his brother became diabetic. His brother died from it in the 60s. For those unfamiliar, people of south Asian origin have a genetic predisposition for this wretched condition.
Wherever I look on the web - including this website - there is practically no guidance for the metabolically challenged.
Now it may be that this and other site creators consider my dilemma to represent that of a minority and unworthy of attention.
If that is the case, I invite them to answer the following question -
'Is it fair to ignore the needs of those who by no fault of their own have this condition thrust upon them whilst indulging the bulk of those who contracted the disease by self indulgent gluttony and sloth ?'
