Your profile seems to be completely closed (I get an error message). Would you mind telling us what medication you are on, how long you've had diabetes and what your numbers are like usually? Is this a new thing or has it been this way for a while?
Hope things will improve shortly for you!

I don’t agree that you’re on a very low carb diet, your porridge and pear adds up to 40-50g approx alone. It is low carb but more than what most people think of as very low carb. What are you drinking throughout the day? Milk in coffees or teas can add up too. Here’s some definitions of levels of carbs:

Hi I'm really lost with what to eat. I had porridge at 5am this morning it is now 1pm and my blood sugars are 10.4 I eat porridge because I thought u should have a good breakfast.

Eating a 'good' breakfast is fine, but your meter clearly tells you that your diabetes doesn't think of porridge as a good breakfast.

Well yes, I agree it is a good idea to have a good breakfast, but porridge would have to be the only food available for me to swallow some.
I eat 5 to 10 gm of carbs along with protein and fat when I decide to eat and then I can go all day - up to 12 hours sometimes, before I eat another meal and a couple of times a week I eat berries with cream as a dessert. Other days I might eat some sugar free jelly - but that seems to have stopped, now I think about it.
My total daily carb count was 50 gm whilst I was getting rid of the diabetes and some weight, now I have reduced down to 40 to try to lose more weight, though I am still getting thinner around the middle.

If you have to eat breakfast (many of us don't) there is nothing wrong with bacon and eggs, mushrooms, high meat content sausages. No toast.

Cold meats, nuts, olives, cheeses are all good.

I don't drink a lot just sparkling flavour water

The problem with eating anything with any carbs in it with me in the morning is that it’s the morning when I have high numbers (it’s called Dawn Phenomenon and lots of people have it if you look it up). If I ate carbs - any carbs - in the morning my high numbers would go higher and stay that way.

Oddly, if I eat a big but almost carb less breakfast, my morning numbers go down very quickly - bacon, eggs, spinach, cheese or all that in an omelette will have a reverse effect on me with numbers two hours later being a lot lower than the number I started with. So you can have a good, filling breakfast that works with your numbers instead of against them. A lot of it is trial and error with your meter guiding you on what is acceptable. We’ve all been there and found what works for us as individuals - and the diet doctor website has some great ideas for making eggs a bit more interesting...

I would change to sparkling mineral water as the flavoured kind often has sugars in. You can always add a slice of lemon or lime to flavour it yourself.

You could skip breakfast, or prepare something the night before - hard boiled eggs or crustless quiche/frittata that can be warmed in the microwave in seconds, or eat some cold meat/cheese.

I assume you have a Microwave So Consider making your Breakfast The Night before and then Microwave in the Morning I often save half an omelette from my evening meal and reheat in microwave in the morning can do the same with sausages etc. and much more. Experiment !
