Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Thank you for those words of encouragement

Well done that's brilliant! Nearly at your goal, which I'm confident you will achieve! I don't really know if my GP measures yet - its early days for me, but I certainly am. You'd think they would wouldn't you?

You may not have lost Rachel.... but you've not gained either by the look of your post - celebrate that! Your body is perhaps just adjusting - don't give up.

Well done on your paid position - you must've been a real asset in your voluntary status, lovely to get some recognition

Good attitude, I'm sure your results will show you reward - hope you arthritis doesn't cause you too much trouble when you increase your exercise

13 stone 5lb today. Started on 6th January this year on lchf weighing 15 stone 5lb so feeling optimistic. I sorted out my jeans yesterday and have put 5 pairs in a bag for the charity shop.
That's brilliant, well done!

I am trying my best to gain weight whilst keeping my bgs ok

Morning all. 0.2kg down this week. Weight has stabilised now, I think - have been roughly the same weight (+ or - ~0.5kg) for a month. So I’ve found my maintenance diet and will need to make some bigger changes to shift the troublesome bits around my middle.

However, waist, chest and hip measurements are still slowly moving downwards, so have decided to,keep going as I am for a few weeks and then reassess.

Weight at diagnosis on 5.4.17 - 115.3 kg BMI 39.8
Lowest weight - 64.0kg BMI 22.1
Weight today 64.6 kg BMI 22.3
Total weight lost as of today 50.7kg

Not trying to lose any more - have been maintaining below my goal weight of 68kg since November 2017 - but hanging out on this thread as I keep trying to get the balance right

0.1kg down this week - so effectively the same

, so have decided to,keep going as I am for a few weeks and then reassess.
@Goonergal the "difficult second album" period. The body does seem to adjust, almost as if it says "if this is what I am going to be fed I will just have to adapt!"
I am today @ 11 stone 9 pounds 163 pounds or 73.9 kgs which was my original target. That is about 3 pounds off since Wednesday and follows a 1 meal, 12 carb day so may move up over next day or 2. The whole monitoring and changing experience can be frustrating as weight comes down and new lifestyles are established but as Gary and the boys crooned "never forget where you're coming from"
Have a great weekend folks - unless you support Swansea!

Edit:
I now have a little voice chirping away "how low can you go?" May find it hard to resist - (its a male ego thing ladies)

I might get up and weigh myself. Gulp!
Iron tablets for Anaemia are helping me sleep with less palpatations. Tummy may have reduced so no longer wearing baggy trousers for comfort.
I'm looking forward to weigh-in again.
Scan gave me all clear so must be stomach acid problem. Either too much without landsoprozol or too little when I take it. Metformin is in the middle of it all.
DN told me I could drop metformin, for now. But very very reluctant. We'll see how next free weeks pan out.
I'm off to get weighed and sort kids for school.

Here goes.
Weight this morning 128.60kg 16.03.18

So this is my new starting point as I added 5kgs from my lowest point but I'd like more than that off, asap.

Well done to all who have lost or trying to lose.
Excellent work to maintainers too!

How are you getting on @TTTE ?

Looks like my reducing my cream intake and making small changes such as using almond milk in my morning coffee instead of full fat cow’s have got my weight loss going again. I’ve also managed a walk each day, weekly average 20mins per day. Walking round the perimeter of the park at the end of my road takes 20 mins exactly so that’s my walk of choice
This week I’ve lost 0.2kg, small loss but significant enough for me.

Started 115kg 9th May’17
Today 82kg 16th March’18
Total lost = 33kg/5stone 3lb

EDIT to clarify that weekly average of 20mins is 20 mins per day
