Weekly weigh in - Fridays

I put on about 3 lbs while on holiday, but that was in top of another 10 or so that have crept back on since my lowest.
I have already lost 2 of the holiday pounds
I'm cutting alcohol for a month as a starting strategy

Woohoo on the smaller bike shorts, that is real proof. Well done on all the good eating, working out and managing the diabetes, it really is enough, I agree! Continue to live your best life, you deserve it.

Yes, that is a win, maintaining a certain weight is hard and does take some dedication, so you have done very well there. Good luck for the half stone over the next four weeks, I am sure you can do it!

Well done on losing most of your holiday weight. I think everyone gains while on holiday, so that is perfectly normal. Cutting out alcohol is a good strategy, I find it messes me up too much. Have a great week MrsA2!

Happy Friday fellow travellers!

This week's average is 83.6kg (last week's 83.3kg, a difference of +0.3kg). Have made substantial progress through the week, but my starting point was quite a high upwards YO of YO-YO (over 85kg on Sun/Mon).

Today's weigh-in was 82.6kg (last Friday's 82.8 kg., -0.2kg). Current target 80kg. 2.6kg to go from today.

I'm now really focusing on getting by BG controlled and kickstart weight loss. Want to get to my target by the end of Jun, but that's quite a stretch challenge and while feels like some progress this week, am behind where I wanted to be. Hoping there is time to catch up though.

Yay, that is still a good loss and yes, I do believe controlling the BG is a great help. 3 more weigh-ins to the end of the month - you might make your goal!

Stagnant
Even after 2 weeks of no alcohol and minimal cheese
Oh, well done on the no alcohol and minimal cheese, but how annoying not to see the rewards that you deserve. Sometimes it takes the body a bit to catch up - fingers crossed for you next week!
