Hi K :). The person that started this thread just put Friday - there is no set day or time. Just good that you have joined us merry people, post whenever you want.:)

3/3 - Good Morning Everyone :). I have lost 4 lbs and my weight is exactly 13 stone :singing::happy:.
Asked my Partner to check and all I had on was my fitted boxers and glasses = No, not a site to see 1st thing!!:D.
Very impressed, you're doing so well all round, BG, weight and other meds. Very happy for you.:)

No loss this week but I feel hopefully for next week. Birthday month this, god help me! Ha ha Son, mum, mine and then mothers day! Then 4 weeks later son no.2 then 6 weeks til hubby's. What a minefield of cake and treats. House is filled with it.
No add just same weight but lapsed lchf too. Back on wagon on monday, a shop due.
Be strong :D. Resist, resist, resist:D:D:D. What we need as times like this is a little diabetes go to cupboard. Just filled with our treats. No one else, Just us!!! :joyful::joyful::joyful:. Also, how about making the birthday peeps (not you) eat their cake in a cupboard, to try to take some of their pleasure away !! I jest of course:rolleyes:. Good luck!!

Thanks @callyandy - Just want to get to 12 stone to stop: Liver Specialist, Diabetologist, GP and Diabetes Nurse from nagging me that I am "overweight"???, and most of them need to look into a Mirror more often:D.

@ickihun I'm into the run of birthdays and weddings....
Jan: grandson 9, Feb: Wedding, March: grandson 7, wedding, April: Daughter (better not tell her age!), May: Grandson 5, Son and son-in-law's birthday (though some doesn't live here, so no cake there!), June: son's wedding, July:Husband's birthday, Music Festival in Stornoway, AUG FREE!, Sept: 2 weddings! Will have to try and fit in lots of LCHF food and exercise when I can! Will be passing round the begging bowl to pay for all those wedding outfits!

Forgot to add, I've lost 2 lb this week, back to 10st exactly
:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: Well done on the weight

Well done everybody. Congratulations on all your excellent week. I am with Prem51 and sticking at 80.5. Despite lots of lotticise and no pancakes. Can I share ickihun and Beryl's begging bowl please. Mothers day and 5 birthdays including mine. I had better lose lbs this week as from the 15th it is party all the way.
Heeheehee. Good luck;)

I maintained this week, really. 79.4kg.

After almost a week in Paris that isn't surprising, even with the increased walking, as I am still new to lchf diet, and had trouble finding alternatives for breakfast and lunch (and sometimes dinner at some of the restaurants.) I went to the store today and bought pretty much one of each over-the-ground vegetable they had! Vegetables, I've missed them so!
Keep reading, loads of good ideas out there for meals. Trips away from home and routine can be hard for even well versed LCHF peeps. Well done for maintaining.

Weighed today 8st 12lbs so a loss of 0.6lbs, not sure why a slight loss but still maintaining so happy, don't want to be loosing anymore as to date have lost just over 10st in 20 months. Well done to all who have lost, maintained or gained this week :)
Your numbers are so inspirational...:):):)

Agree my doctor has sent me a letter wants to see me because it's a long time since I last went in,it was January this year, the one who treats diabetics at our practice could do a great take of Eddy Murphy in the Nutty Proffesor! K

been fighting intermittant edema, so weight is relative. In the morning yesterday I was 143 but the night before I was 149 with the water eight, kind of dangerous. I reached only 146.6 by bedtime last night so edema was not so bad. This afternoon, since I normally weigh myself after breakfast or lunch, I am 145. So, hard to tell whether I have gained weight or have the edema which I only see in my feet alone today.

Any edema or water weight, I suggest documenting because then you are likely to get the tests you need from your docs to help you. Document:

1. All that you ate that day
2. Weight rising, weight after meals, weight before retiring for night.
3. Any pain from edema anywhere in body
4. Your daily blood pressures and blood sugars.
5. Any stomach or bowel irregularities or nausea
6. Whether or not it is pitting edema.

This is what the doc suggested.
Hope yours improves. Mine is off and on throughout the day and night.
I think its worse on a friday morning, ;)
It just feels that way.

Rainbow, I've just been catching up with this thread, and have to comment that you have lost a whole one of me, the a third as much again!! I bet you wouldn't fancy carrying me around 24/7, never mind me and a small child.

You must feel fabulous. Very, very well done.
