Hi tervell
I've been having the same problem for many years now. But this last few months I've been this app and the last month I've lost 6lbs and it's so easy to use. The app is called myFittnesPal.
All you have to do is put in your current weight height and age it works out your cals for the day. It's very very good. Give it a try.

Good luck
Malcolm

yeah i know that app. problem is it tells me that im to eat 1800 calories. and i never go over that. nor do i go far under it either. i cant see how i can run so much and every day and not loose a thing

I know how you feel. I lost 4st, but haven't lost a pound since november/early december.
Although there's no actual weight loss, at that level of exercise, your body will be changing. You are getting fitter, and your body will be benefiting from it.
Eventually the weight will come off, and it'll probably happen quite quickly when it does.

If you eat too little your body go into starvation mood and refuse to budge. If you eat more fat you might loose more weight.

It is not about calories-calories out. It is mainly about hormones. That is why LCHF works so well for weight loss.

I have a slice of whole grain toast for breakfast lunch a ham and light cheese sandwich on whole grain bread. A packet of skips and a 0 fat yogurt. I'll have an apple or two in the afternoon and then dinner would be something like brown pasta and bolognaise or other healthy home made meal

Skip the bread, pasta and fruit. Go for the fattest yoghurt you can find. Have some berries instead of the apples. You seem to eat quite a lot of carbs. Eat fat instead and I am sure you will start to loose weight in no time.

Turvell, rate of weight loss will fluctuate and could even plateau for a while. Concentrate on the positives though, could you have ran 25miles in 1 week 6 months ago ? Do you keep a food diary ? I ask because it can be easy to under estimate calorie intake or forget the occasional snack. Your running is of great benefit to your cardio system and general health but it does not have a huge impact on weight loss. This starts in the kitchen. Has your body shape changed ? Waist etc ? Ultimately, if you consume less calories than you burn, you'll lose weight. Aim for a steady weight loss of no more than 2lbs a week though to prevent starvation mode or lethargy. Stick with it. You have made some big improvements so far.

Breakfast usually bacon and eggs. I scramble the eggs in the fat. Or sometimes I have Greek yoghurt with nuts and berries. For lunch leftovers or a vegetable soup with at least 50 grams of fat of some kind, olive oil for example, or butter, or both and sometimes I put some virgin coconut oil in, tastes lovely.

It can take a while to get used to it, particularly so if you have been on a low fat diet but you will get there in the end. Thing is, low carb high fat works extremely well for overweight in general and help diabetics to control bg.

Have a look at this site, I have posted it before but it is so brilliant I will do it again: http://www.dietdoctor.com/how-to-lose-weight
