Sounds like they will:-So, german car makers will be beating a path to our doors?

Perhaps that is because every time Brexiters express an opinion we get 'shouted down' by multiple remainers on the thread?I note how the previously passionate Brexiters have now gone very quiet on this thread.
I'm sorry leavers don't feel listened to/shouted down. That's really sad if people aren't listening and talking. I'm angry - but trying to do positive things, community events etc, rather than let it eat me up - about people who didn't do any of their own research and blithely believed the hype (both sides)! And I think either way it went, there would've been a backlash, particularly down to the very, very small margins involved. I absolutely agree that it's not the voters fault, but that of the referendum in itself, and the misinformation that circulated. And jeez. DC is a silly boy, isn't he? What a mess he's left behind!Perhaps that is because every time Brexiters express an opinion we get 'shouted down' by multiple remainers on the thread?
But you should only need to do this once. If done properly.Depends on your point of view.
It's money to bail out the pound, and the banks now.
That's where money always goes.
I wonder what percentage were woman and what percentage were men voting either side?I'm not implying it, that was the reputation of that factory/foundry. I think you may be forgetting that it was largely the women who worked back home in the UK to win the war whilst the menfolk were away fighting.
Sounds like they will:-
However, Conservative MP John Redwood, who suggested Britain would get a better deal outside the EU than Switzerland or Norway, dismissed the warning. "I don't think he [Wissman] speaks for the German government," he said.
"We've heard [German Chancellor] Angela Merkel take a fairly emollient line. She is only too well aware that German industry is saying to her: 'For goodness sake do not end up with tariffs and barriers in the way of our very substantial exports to the United Kingdom market.'"

Some people who don't like conflict are just backing down to appease others.zand said:They expected the financial sacrifices to be made by other people, it's going to come as a shock to a lot of them that they will be hit too. I for one fully accept the democratic decision (that's why I stated I wouldn't want a 2nd referendum) but it's a huge shame that some of those who voted for it have changed their minds already. Hey ho. I'm happy to move forward even if they aren't. lol There's not only sore losers, there's sore winners this time too.
Some people who don't like conflict are just backing down to appease others.
Its their personal business. Thats why voting is done anonymously. No duress.
You might not, but plenty of people on this forum and on social media have accused or made insinuations of leavers being racist. As for "every racist will vote leave" I disagree. I think that if it suited a racist to vote remain for his own personal gain then he would. I refuse to believe that within 48% of the population that voted remain that there was not at least one racist among them!
Yes, Farage is a complete ****, but that is not the fault of the leave voters! Yes, @Brunneria I totally agree that a minority of disgusting racist xenophobes are putting a "toxic blight on everyone regardless of which way they voted" and that they are using this situation to spread their hate. As @Bluetit1802 mentioned, this may still of happened as a backlash if remain had of won, no one can know.
At the end of the day, you can't blame the voters, it is the referendum itself that is to blame. If you want to blame someone, blame Cameron for starting this process in the first place. It has been said that no one had a plan for Brexit, if that is actually true then shame on Cameron for holding this referendum in the first place. If that is trued then it is grossly negligent to allow the public to make such a huge decision without having a forward plan, regardless of the outcome! He got us into this and now he has said "f**k you lot, I am not dealing with this mess"!
Well don't look at Boris or Gove then!!!!! Boris made a hash of being Mayor of London and Gove was so bad as Education minister that they got rid of him. All Boris wants is to be Prime Minister and I think he saw his opportunity with the Leave campaign. He is not in the least bit interested in the average person in this country. He didn't build one council house in all his time in office in London, spending all the money on Boris bikes and taking up half the roads with bike lanes that nobody uses because they are all still riding on the pavements. He wasted a fortune getting survey after survey on land further down the Thames because he wznted to build an airport there and each team of surveyors kept telling him it wasn't feasible. And both Boris and Gove wanted to privatises the NHS and make people take out insurance. God help us if either of them get more power!Politicians do not usually leave big decisions to the people unless they think the people will give the right answer.....given sufficient propaganda! No politician would have a referendum on say an issue like bringing back hanging for terrorism or child murder. The vote for would be much higher than 53%. Cameron must be kicking himself for not having some escape clauses. Where wisdom lies now is in a true democracy, not that of the selfish and frightened first past the post. It is the need for wise politicians who will look for consensus out of division. That is what we elected them for not to abdicate their responsibility to referenda . Like predators looking on the big multinationals are ready to pounch and make money whilst our savings are flushed down the lavatory. I hope we get some decent leaders that have the interest of the people at heart. D.
They won't have the money to help anyone! The country is going down the pan!I expect the british government to help our farmers, welsh residents alongside scottish and northern irish members.
They should be able to rely on their govenment not anothers for support.
The british govenment needs to get used to helping its members instead of relying on other governments to assist. No more crying austerity. Help out when needed.
How dare they admit to relying on others for its responsibility. Of course they wanted to remain.
Leaving now gives us a chance to evaluate the uks needs. They should have the support they need.
I'm looking forward to a stronger more independant uk.
Like I've said before the results were disclosed.
Look after your own family before helping the neighbours.
Which also means supporting the whole of the uk. Not just Europe.
The british government are responsible for all it's residents, first and foremost.
You are living in cloud cookoo land!!!!!!Well. at Boris will have a few cards.
Now the stock market and the pound has fallen, he will be getting to decide where are the money that used to go to Brussels, then get fed back into the deprived areas as grants, regeneration, business starter loans, can either continue to be fed from central government, or be diverted into propping up the banks, and rebuilding the financial institutions that were relocated out of London.
As you say, the working class need to calm down, knuckle under, and when we are great again, and trade as we used to, they'll be back in the land of milk and honey.
You know you can depend on an ultra right wing government, with a massive windfall, to do the right thing.
After all, they're in it until they retire, and their pensions don't come from nowhere.
That's not what the Citymen are saying. They won't have the money to help anyone! The country is going down the pan!
@KevinPotts there will always be supply and demand.Well if The Donald wins, Boris will invite him onto his broken static trip wire and we'll then be escorted to the front of the USA trade deal queue
....the fact that it is not utterly ridiculous makes it all the more frightening!
